“Songs for the People,” Great River Chorale’s spring 2024 concert, presents an inspiring mix of new and familiar music to lift your spirits. The concert includes folk hymns such as Down in the River to Pray and Simple Gifts, folksongs such as Shenandoah and The Water Is Wide, and African-American spirituals and gospel music including City Called Heaven and O!
